Rest Assured is a cosy, yet spacious holiday apartment located on Whitby’s West Cliff. A popular coastal destination all year round, the town boasts a Blue Flag beach and historic sites plus plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars to choose from. Boasting brand new interiors and easy access to all of Whitby’s attractions, this lower ground floor apartment sleeps up to four guests across two bedrooms. A fun-filled adventure for all of the family, you won’t forget your stay at Rest Assured.

The Space:
Sleeping up to four guests, Rest Assured is a homely apartment with plenty of style. You’ll find a spacious open plan living, kitchen and dining room at the centre of the apartment. With comfy grey sofas and a flat screen TV, the living area is the ideal spot to relax with your loved ones.

The modern kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering stays so you’ll have everything you could need to prepare meals including an oven, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, and fridge freezer, plus the added bonuses of a dishwasher and washing machine.

Head along the hallway and you’ll find two bedrooms and the family bathroom.

The first bedroom features a super-king size bed with crisp bed linen, a blue colour scheme, and a flat screen TV. Also sharing the space is an ensuite shower room, which also features a wash basin and WC.

The second bedroom also has a super-king size bed and a wall-mounted TV but features a light grey colour scheme and pops of red.

Both beds at Rest Assured can be split into two singles upon request, making the apartment particularly suitable for guests staying with children and teenagers.

Modern in style, the family bathroom has a bathtub, WC and basin for your convenience.

Rest Assured is also home to its own private south-facing rear yard. Accessible from the first bedroom, you’ll find garden furniture and a parasol here.

Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full apartment. The keys to Rest Assured are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.

A parking scratch card is provided, allowing for free on-street parking in Whitby's 'W' zone.

It is strictly prohibited to smoke at Rest Assured, and this includes the use of E-Cigarettes.

Unfortunately due to the access and layout of the apartment, Rest Assured is not suitable for pets, those less able or those with mobility issues.

Parties are strictly prohibited at the apartment.

The Neighborhood:
Rest Assured is located on Whitby’s West Cliff within walking distance of the beautiful, Blue Flag West Cliff Beach which is lined with idyllic beach huts in the summer months.

Also a short walk away is the centre of Whitby where you’ll find an abundance of pubs, restaurants, cafes and bars. Head to Pier Road and you’ll find an array of cosy pubs, fun arcades and plenty of fish restaurants. At the other end of Pier Road, you’ll notice the swing bridge which sits over the River Esk.

Over the bridge, you’ll find yourself on the East bank which is full of narrow mediaeval streets dotted with boutiques, pubs and fish restaurants. Climb the famous 199 steps up to the Church of Saint Mary. You can also discover the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey, which was the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s gothic novel ‘Dracula’.

Step outside of Whitby and you’ll uncover a haven of woodland and moorland. Whitby forms part of the North York Moors National Park so it’s the perfect place for long walks.

Getting Around:
Whitby train station is less than a mile away so villages and towns along the North Yorkshire coast can easily be reached via rail. There’s also a taxi rank in close proximity to the train station.

There are plenty of bus routes throughout Whitby. Hop on the X4 and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Staithes. The X93 travels along the coast to Scarborough. The 95 route features plenty of quaint villages, such as Grosmont and Lealholm.
