This old cottage is located close to the owners' farmhouse on a working sheep farm deep in the beautiful countryside of Swaledale. 1.5 miles from the villages of Muker and Gunnerside this is a truly country setting.
The cottage has been very comfortably furnished and well equipped and provides spacious accommodation with some great views of the surrounding fells and hills. It has been fully renovated and has kept some of the original charm with an open fire and beamed ceiling in the sitting room.
Walkers will thoroughly enjoy this area as there are plenty of hikes throughout the surrounding fells and pretty riverside strolls for the less adventurous. The Yorkshire Dales are all easily accessible by car and even the Lake District is less than an hour away.
Ground floor – sitting room, fully fitted kitchen, large hallway with dining area. First floor – 4 bedrooms – 1 double with an en-suite bathroom with WC and basin and a single bedroom, and 2 twin, shower room with WC and basin.
Open fire in lounge, full central heating – all fuel and power is included. Cot, feeding chair, colour TV with some satellite channels, DVD player, microwave, deep freeze, washer/dryer, dishwasher, telephone. Bed linen and towels are provided. Garden with furniture.
