The kitchen is modern and equipped with integrated appliances. At the rear of the cottage, is the garden with a seating area, which is shared with the neighbouring holiday cottage. Upstairs on the first floor, you have a king bedroom as well as a stylish shower room, on the second floor you have another king bedroom as well as a bunk room, with a double bed on the bottom and a single on top, and an additional shower room.
This small village attracts many visitors due to its beauty and the amenities are only a 2-minute walk away, with cafes, a bakery, the village green and a small park surrounding the duck pond perfect to enjoy the scenery. The village has become popular after being featured on the classic car auction show Bangers and Cash, and you can visit the showroom to see what unique finds are going for auction. There is an abundance of scenic walking trails nearby branching out into the neighbouring moorland, an ideal destination for guests who enjoy the great outdoors.
Surrounding attractions include Dalby Forest, with wonderful hiking and cycling trails, segway riding and treetop ziplining, and Flamingoland theme park and zoo for younger family members. Rydale Folk Museum documents the history of the area with reconstructed shops, houses and even an iron stone dwelling. The nearby market town of Pickering has castle ruins and the heritage steam train which takes you to the coast, or for a day out by the sea choose from, Staithes, Runswick Bay with sheltered golden sandy beach, historical Robin Hood’s Bay with its characterful cottages spilling down the cliff top to the sea, or Sandsend with a vast beach at low tide, and the ever-popular coastal town of Whitby is also an unmissable day out, with the iconic Abbey, the 199 steps, the cobbled old down lined with bustling shops and cafés as well as the whale bone and the Captain Cook monument and museum.

North Yorkshire Moors Railway and The Brunswick are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at North York Moors National Park and Dalby Forest Visitor Centre.
