The property features a secluded back garden, unrestricted on-street parking, and a welcoming entrance hall that leads to a spacious dining room and modern lounge.
The lounge is a striking new addition, characterized by floor-to-ceiling glass walls that create a seamless connection between the indoor and outdoor spaces. This design element not only enhances natural light but also allows guests to enjoy the tranquility of the garden. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing meals, while the ground floor includes two adjoining double bedrooms, one of which has direct access to the garden. A well-appointed bathroom with a power shower over a full-sized bath completes the ground floor layout.
Upstairs, guests will find two principal bedrooms featuring en-suite shower rooms, both furnished with double beds, alongside a smaller bedroom with bunk beds. While hypoallergenic bedding is not provided, the property is designed to accommodate various guest needs. Check-in is available from 16:00, with additional fees applicable for late arrivals. Early access may be arranged depending on the previous day's bookings, and guests must coordinate their arrival with the property manager at least 24 hours in advance.
Lochside House is part of a secure rental system protected by SUPERHOG, which requires guests to verify their identity upon booking. An alternative £500 damage deposit can be arranged directly with the property manager. The house maintains a strict non-smoking policy and does not permit hen, stag, or party groups, ensuring a peaceful environment for all guests. Located near notable landmarks such as Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile, the property offers a variety of activities, including golf, cycling, and horse riding, making it a perfect base for exploring the vibrant city of Edinburgh.
