Town: Combe Martin, a delightful town is located where the Exmoor National Park and the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty converge. A popular destination for both locals and tourists, the town has all the necessities, a sweeping beach, and a sheltered cove, great for rock-pooling and paddle-boarding. The hamlet also has a dinosaur and wildlife park! The famous Earl of Rone festival and an annual funfair are both hosted at Combe Martin each year in May. With Lynton and Lynmouth, Woolacombe, Croyde Bay, Saunton Sands, Ilfracombe, and Barnstaple all within easy driving distance, this is a great starting point for exploring and learning about North Devon.
Located in Ilfracombe, this lodge is by the sea. Arlington Court and Arlington Court are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at South West Coast Path Section 4 Trailhead and South West Coast Path Section 3 Trailhead. Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park and Watermouth Castle are also worth visiting. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails and rock climbing nearby.
