Pengwern is a stone-built, detached farmhouse set in a delightful hillside position, next to the owner's home near Llangynog. Boasting fantastic views, this cottage has six bedrooms; a double, a family room with super king-size double and single bed and en-suite shower room, two king-size doubles (zip/link can be twins on request), a second floor king-size double with en-suite shower room, a second floor family room with king-size double (zip/link can be twins on request) and two single beds, sleeping 15 guests. There is also a bathroom, ground floor cloakroom, kitchen/diner, utility, dining room, sitting room with woodburning stove, drying room and games room with a full-sized snooker table. Outside is ample off-road parking, lockable bike storage and a patio garden with furniture. Pengwern sits in a beautiful location, perfect for families and groups of friends wishing to enjoy the many nearby footpaths and mountain biking available.

Town: This charming community is about four miles from the majestic Pistyll Rhaeadr (a 240-foot-high waterfall), one of Wales' Seven Wonders, in the lovely Tanat Valley at the base of the Berwyn Mountains. The Englishman Who Went Up A Hill But Came Down A Mountain and, more recently, the David Tennant-starring movie Nativity 2 were both filmed in Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant. The community has three pubs, a café, a fish and chip restaurant, an Indian takeaway, two general stores, a newsagent, a post office, a butcher. Beautiful scenery surrounds it, offering walking paths for people of various fitness levels, such as the Berwyn Ridge Walk and a path to the top of the waterfall.
