Kilburn House is a large Victorian town house just a short stroll from the centre of Bridlington on the beautiful North Yorkshire coastline. Once known as a popular bed and breakfast, it has once again been transformed into a very welcoming home. With private hot tub, spacious social areas and two private courtyards, this holiday home is perfect for large family groups to come together and celebrate whilst enjoying this vibrant harbour town.
The spacious open plan living/dining area offers a large bay window which floods the room with natural light. Huge sofas, handmade for the property, offer plenty of seating and are ideally placed to enjoy a family night in front of the 65” Smart TV, whilst the bespoke dining table can accommodate the whole group, whether that be for a hearty breakfast before heading out for the day or for coming together to enjoy a delicious home cooked evening meal. This holiday home also offers a café room with bar; just perfect for a social cuppa before heading out for the day. The chef in the group will be delighted with the kitchen which offers a host of appliances including a huge range, triple slow cooker, and a large grill. There is a separate utility room with fridge/freezer, washing machine and dryer. A cosy ‘quiet’ room sits to the back of the house and here you can relax in one of two armchairs to read a book or enjoy one of the board games provided. A second sitting room offers more seating and access out to one of two private courtyards. This offers a private seven-seater hot tub and additional seating. Enjoy a soak surrounded by bubbles in the mid-day sun or enjoy a spot of star gazing with your friends on an evening. Kilburn House offers two ground floor bedrooms, one of which has en-suite shower facilities, for those who can’t manage the stairs. Access to the second courtyard is via the café’ room. This outside area offers a covered seating area should the weather be a little inclement.
This fabulous holiday home offers nine further bedrooms spread over two floors, the majority of which have en suite bathrooms. There is a mixture of double, super king-size zip and link and a bunk room, and all of them are beautifully presented with Freeview TV’s. The deep filled mattresses and cosy soft furnishings will guarantee a great night’s sleep after a busy day. A bonus too are the six private car park spaces – two to the front and four to the rear of the property.
On the doorstep is a plethora of tea rooms, restaurants, amusements and convenience stores. Bridlington also offers two beautiful sandy beaches, a promenade for relaxing seafront walks and a thriving spa and theatre offering a packed events programme throughout the summer months. Sewerby Hall and Gardens, Burton Agnes Hall and Sledmere House and Gardens are all within a short drive of the property, and a little further along the coast is Filey and the pretty village of Flamborough with its working lighthouse. For bird watchers, a visit to RSPB Bempton Cliffs is a must. With miles of walking and cycling routes do not forget to bring your bikes. With a choice of golf courses and miles of walking and cycling opportunities on the Yorkshire Wolds and along the Flamborough Heritage Coast there is something for everyone.
