This former hotel is in the village of Burton Agnes, set between Bridlington and Driffield and offers lovely accommodation for large parties. In the village, Burton Agnes Hall is a magnificent Elizabethan mansion and well worthy of a visit to both the house and gardens. Walkers and cyclists, history and culture buffs, beach and seascape seekers are all catered for here. The stunning Yorkshire Coast is a mere 6 miles away offering sandy beaches and towering majestic cliffs full of seabirds and the Yorkshire Wolds is a rolling landscape dotted with pretty villages. The lovely market town of Beverley is under 20 miles away and offers a wealth of things to do, there are independent boutiques and shops within charming courtyards and cobbled streets. The Georgian Quarter is architecturally fascinating with many listed buildings including the 15th century North Bar and at the heart of the town is the Gothic cathedral of Beverley Minster. Beverley Racecourse is set in the stunning surroundings of The Westwood which has beautiful common grounds with good walks and views of the town.
