The hamlet of Holcombe is surrounded by scenic countryside, making it just the place for walking, with one popular route leading to Lyme Regis (2 miles) alongside the River Lim. Lyme Regis has a good selection of local amenities as well as boutiques and eateries, why not take a stroll along the seafront promenade to the historic Cobb and harbour? Located in a picturesque valley close to the Devon/Dorset border, this delightful property is the perfect base for touring the region. The Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site, has beautiful beaches and fossil rich cliffs. River Cottage HQ is 2 miles north and there are many other attractions including Beer Caves, Killerton, Seaton Tramway, Bicton Park all within 30 miles. Attached to the owners home, yet with privacy assured, a shared path leads to the main entrance into this single storey property. Once inside you are met with a spacious open plan lounge/diner, with a TV for those cosy evenings in. Enjoy a relaxed meal at the dining table just opposite or cook up a storm in the galley kitchen next door. This space has an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge with ice compartment and washer/dryer. An inner hallway leads to the charming king sized bedroom and a compact shower room with shower and WC. Heading outside via doors in the lounge area you will find a pretty terrace with garden furniture and low stone walls. The owners koi pond is just opposite (unenclosed, care to be taken with children and dogs) so you can enjoy the sound of running water whilst taking your morning coffee. There is an off road parking space for one car to the front of the property.
