The iconic Bamburgh Castle, which dominates the landscape, can be admired right from the front door. Additionally, the property is conveniently situated near Budle Bay, a renowned bird sanctuary ideal for birdwatchers, and the quaint fishing village of Seahouses, which boasts a variety of dining options and boat trips to the nearby Farne Islands.
The Village House accommodates guests comfortably across four well-appointed bedrooms, including a king-size room with an en suite, a double room with views of the village green, and two twin rooms. The layout includes a cozy attic room that features twin beds and an extra small double bed, perfect for additional guests. The ground floor is designed for relaxation and socializing, featuring a living room with comfortable seating and a flat-screen TV equipped with Netflix, a dining room that seats eight, and a conservatory with cane sofas. The fully equipped kitchen caters to all culinary needs, while a convenient shower room is also located on this level.
For entertainment, guests can enjoy modern amenities such as BOSE speakers, a multi-device charger, and a CD/DVD player. Families are well accommodated with the availability of a travel cot and highchair upon request, although guests should note that bedding for the cot is not provided. The outdoor space features a courtyard with seating and a barbecue, perfect for enjoying warm evenings. While on-street parking is available nearby, the property also provides WiFi, bed linen, towels, and oil central heating for enhanced comfort during the stay.
Pets are welcome at the Village House, with a maximum of three dogs allowed for an additional fee. However, guests are reminded that dogs should not be left unattended in the property. An Accidental Damage Deposit may be required, and guests will receive detailed travel and key collection instructions upon full payment. For those seeking leisure activities, the property grants access to local leisure club facilities, and nearby attractions such as Seahouses Golf Club and Dunstanburgh Castle Golf Club offer additional recreational opportunities amidst the stunning natural beauty of the Northumberland Coast and Lindisfarne National Nature Reserve.
