Additionally, the beautiful Hexham Abbey and the Roman town of Corbridge are just a short drive away.
The house welcomes visitors through a conservatory, an ideal spot for sipping morning coffee while overlooking the patio and garden. The spacious open-plan lounge, kitchen, and dining area create a warm and inviting atmosphere perfect for family gatherings. After a day of adventures, guests can relax in the comfortable lounge seating beside a large wood burner set in a charming stone inglenook fireplace, with the first basket of logs provided for cozy evenings. Entertainment is at hand with a Smart TV for movie nights, while the contemporary kitchen is fully equipped for meal preparation, featuring a multi-burner gas hob, double electric oven, large fridge with freezer drawers, microwave, and dishwasher.
The dining area includes a large table that comfortably seats all guests, with additional chairs available for visitors. An archway leads to a hallway where a shower room with a walk-in shower and WC can be found, along with a utility room equipped with a washing machine and storage for outdoor gear and bikes. This utility room provides access to the front garden and parking area, enhancing convenience for guests returning from outdoor excursions.
Upstairs, the bright landing leads to four elegantly designed bedrooms, each featuring zip and link beds that can be configured as twin beds upon request. Among the accommodations are two super king-size bedrooms, each with its own en suite shower and WC, alongside a third super king-size bedroom and a king-size bedroom. The family bathroom offers a shower over a 'P' shaped bath and an additional WC is conveniently located on this floor. Outside, the property boasts an enclosed garden with a patio area for alfresco dining, complemented by a spacious lawn for outdoor activities. Private off-road parking is available for up to four cars, ensuring a comfortable and accessible stay for all guests.
