For those interested in nature, Budle Bay, a renowned bird sanctuary, lies to the north, while Seahouses, famous for boat trips to the Farne Islands, is just a short journey south, offering opportunities to see puffins and grey seals.
The cottage features a comfortable living area complete with cozy seating, a wood-burning stove, and a flat-screen TV equipped with Netflix for entertainment. The open-plan kitchen and dining area is fully equipped with modern appliances such as a cooker, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge freezer, along with a dining table that can seat eight guests. The ground floor also includes a double bedroom and a shower room, ensuring convenience for guests. On the first floor, there are three additional bedrooms: one with twin beds, another with a super king-size bed and a flat-screen TV, and a cozy small double room, along with a bathroom featuring a bath and handheld shower attachment.
Grove Cottage is designed with family-friendly amenities, offering cots, highchairs, and stair gates upon request. Entertainment options abound, with flat-screen TVs in both the lounge and one of the bedrooms, a BOSE speaker, and various games, toys, books, and DVDs available for guests. Outside, a private courtyard provides garden furniture and a barbecue, perfect for enjoying warm evenings. While on-street parking is available, guests are also provided with WiFi and a starter supply of logs for the wood-burning stove, ensuring a comfortable stay.
Pets are welcome at Grove Cottage, with an allowance for up to three dogs at an additional charge, though guests are reminded not to leave pets unattended in the property. An Accidental Damage Deposit may be required, and guests can access leisure club facilities during their stay. The property is non-smoking, and comprehensive travel and key collection instructions will be provided upon receipt of full payment.
