The space
We are very excited to welcome guests to Parc Y Bryn Lodge which is based in Broadlay, Ferryside. The lodge sits in an elevated position allowing guests to enjoy wonderful countryside and sea views from the balcony which leads off from the master bedroom. These views can also be enjoyed from the private and secure garden. As well as being thoughtfully furnished to provide guests with a comfortable stay, there are also some wonderfully unique and original features throughout.
The property sleeps up to six guests (two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom) and is located less than a mile from Ferryside beach. The property is the perfect base to explore Carmarthenshire and all that the local villages and towns have to offer. Plenty of beaches and castles can be reached within 30 minutes by car.
Ground floor:
Entrance into the porch which is the perfect spot to kick off muddy boots or beach equipment. You will also get a glimpse into the main living area through the porthole window giving. This, along with the original light switches are just a few of the unique features within the property.
The living room/ kitchen and dining area are open-plan, providing you with the perfect entertainment space to spend quality time together. There are two large comfortable sofas centred around a cosy wood burner and SMART tv (you will need to use your own log-on details for Netflix and bring your own fuel for the wood burner). The wood burner is perfect for those staying during the colder months. Here you will also find some reading books as well as a CD player.
The dining table once extended seats up to six guests.
The modern kitchen is kitted out for home dining. Use of appliances includes an oven, electric hob, fridge freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. Smaller appliances include a microwave, kettle and toaster.
First floor:
The bathroom is at the top of the stairs. In here, you will find a three-piece suite with a shower over the bathtub.
The first bedroom is next to the bathroom and has a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cabinets. This bedroom overlooks the nearby fields where guests can enjoy gazing out at the horses who often graze on the land.
The second twin bedroom has two single beds, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers.
The master bedroom benefits from a king-size bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, and bedside cabinets as well as wall-mounted TV and French doors leading out to a very spacious balcony. The balcony has a bistro set which seats two and is the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee while taking in the views across Llansteffan and the countryside all around. The balcony is gated which provides guests with access externally to the drive.
Externally, guests will access the garden via the back door which leads off from the main living/ dining area. There are wooden steps which take you up to the lawned garden and outdoor dining area. The area is fully fenced allowing for a safe space for pets to roam.
