The interior of Marine Cottage is tastefully decorated, reflecting the lively colors of Aldeburgh and its expansive blue skies. The layout spans three floors, with the lower ground floor featuring a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, complemented by a convenient shower room. This arrangement is particularly beneficial for guests returning from beach activities. The kitchen opens up to a charming paved garden, adorned with raised flower beds that burst into color during the summer, including locally famous hollyhocks, creating a lovely setting for outdoor dining. A gate at the back of the garden provides easy access to the beach, just a few steps away.
On the first floor, guests will find a bright sitting room that boasts stunning sea views, making it a perfect spot for relaxation. Adjacent to this space is a twin room that overlooks the lively High Street, providing a delightful view of the town's activities, especially on rainy days. The second floor houses the master bedroom, which features a double bed and offers the best sea views in the cottage, ideal for enjoying a peaceful morning coffee. A spacious family bathroom, equipped with a bath, wash basin, and WC, is also located on this floor.
Marine Cottage is an excellent choice for families and friends who appreciate beach outings and sailing, while still wanting to be close to local restaurants and shops. The property welcomes infants, although guests are required to bring their own cot and high chair. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed, and while there is no reserved parking, free on-street parking is available at the rear, with additional time-restricted parking options on the High Street for convenience.
