Brixham itself is renowned for its pretty harbour, a perfect spot for enjoying water sports or trying your hand at crabbing, offering a choice of beach and boasts an open air sea water lido at Shoalstone. Surrounding this is an assortment of colourful cottages housing seafood restaurants, cafes, shops and pubs. Head out and explore the rest of the English Riviera with an abundance of sandy beaches to discover, or just taking the foot ferry to Dartmouth or Torquay. If an active holiday is more your style then there are plenty of things to keep you busy ranging from golf, walking and cycling. Other attractions within easy reach include Dartmoor National Park, Kents Cavern, Paignton Zoo, Quay West, Plymouth and Exeter. Ascend a flight of external steps to the front door and venture inside this pretty property via the entrance hall where you can hang outdoor clothing. From here step into the beautifully characterful lounge/diner which provides the perfect place to relax after a day exploring, boasts original stonework and beams, and comfortable seating arranged around a Smart TV and a warming wood burner. Venturing up the stairs and onto the first floor you will then discover the perfectly appointed kitchen which offers a great range of appliances and equipment including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, and also a washing machine. From here there is also a door to outside meaning the you can dine alfresco with ease during warm weather. On this floor you will also find the first of the two bedrooms, a beautifully styled double bedroom with a stunning antique wrought iron bed frame, and located next to this is a bathroom with a shower over bath and WC. Venture up a further flight of stairs onto the second floor where you will discover a delightful twin zip and link (which can be made into a super king size on request) with a characterful sloping ceiling and exposed beams. This room also offers a door leading to steps down to a pretty patio area outside. Heading outside, either from the kitchen or twin bedroom, you will find yourself in a lovely enclosed patio area with an gorgeous planted border, garden furniture and a charcoal BBQ. Guests also have access to a stone built potting shed which provides outside storage and also houses the freezer. Guests also benefit from the use of a parking space in the nearby church (other than 9am 12noon on a Sunday), and in addition roadside parking can be found a short walk away (subject to availability) and there are also long stay public car parks located nearby.
