This historic property, with parts dating back to the 17th century, is nestled within nearly two acres of beautifully maintained grounds, providing stunning views of the Glyn Ceiriog Valley and the iconic Chirk Castle. The house is rich in original features, including polished wooden floors, ornate ceilings, and beautiful fireplaces, creating a homely atmosphere that invites relaxation and togetherness.
The accommodation comprises ten unique bedrooms, six of which are designed to accommodate families of four, while four of the bedrooms include en-suite facilities. Additionally, guests have access to three family bathrooms, one featuring a luxurious corner Jacuzzi bath. The spacious farmhouse-style kitchen, complete with wooden floors, ceiling beams, and an oil-fired Rayburn, is ideal for preparing celebratory meals, while the galleried reception and dining room can seat up to 26 people, perfect for family gatherings.
For leisure and entertainment, Bronygarth offers a variety of amenities, including a library, a conservatory, and a games room equipped with a full-size snooker table. Guests can enjoy breakfast on the decked area, plan their day's activities, or unwind in the soothing hot tub in the evenings, reflecting on their day's adventures. The extensive grounds feature mature gardens, lawns, seating areas, and a large brick-built barbecue, enhancing the outdoor experience.
The surrounding area is rich in outdoor activities, with numerous walks and cycle routes available, including the historic Offa's Dyke Path, which runs nearby. This path provides an opportunity for more energetic guests to walk to the nearby Chirk Castle, a 14th-century fortress managed by the National Trust. Just a short drive away lies the vibrant tourist town of Llangollen, known for its steam railway, various watersports, and the stunning Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
