The Lower Mill Estate, where the house is located, spans 550 acres of stunning Cotswold countryside and offers a wealth of amenities. With eight lakes, three swimming pools, tennis courts, a children’s playground, and an onsite restaurant, it provides a safe and secure environment for children to explore and enjoy. The estate also features an activity center where guests can hire bikes and canoes, while the surrounding Cotswolds Water Park offers additional leisure activities. For those who enjoy the outdoors, there are numerous country walks and several traditional pubs within walking distance, enriching the experience with local culture and hospitality.
The interior of the accommodation is thoughtfully designed, with four of the five bedrooms featuring their own south-facing balconies that overlook the serene lake. Three of the bedrooms come with ensuite bathrooms, while two additional bathrooms cater to the remaining guests. The unique bunk room can comfortably host up to three children. The ground floor showcases an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area that seamlessly connects to a decked outdoor space equipped with a barbecue and seating, perfect for al fresco dining. The living area is enhanced by a wood burner, a TV, and a SONOS sound system, creating a cozy atmosphere for relaxation. An additional TV room can serve as a bedroom, complemented by an adjacent shower room.
Additional conveniences include parking for two cars in the driveway, with extra parking available at a nearby visitors' car park. Families traveling with young children will appreciate the availability of two highchairs and two cots. While hen and stag parties are not permitted, well-behaved dogs may be welcomed.
