Cheglinch Farm is an idyllic retreat situated in the serene countryside of North Devon, specifically in Ilfracombe, a charming town in the South West of England. This family-run dairy farm offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, allowing guests to immerse themselves in nature. The farm is home to a variety of wildlife, including a local pheasant family, visiting deer, and owls, creating an enchanting atmosphere. Additionally, the eco-friendly field features small marshland areas that attract numerous bird and insect species, enhancing the natural experience.

For beach lovers, Cheglinch Farm is conveniently located within a 10-20 minute drive of stunning beaches such as Woolacombe, Saunton, Croyde, and Ilfracombe. These beautiful coastal spots provide ample opportunities for surfing, sunbathing, and enjoying the fresh sea air, making it an ideal destination for those looking to relish a day by the ocean. The farm itself features a Belle Tent, which is situated on a wooden platform in a designated area of a spacious 4-acre field, providing a unique glamping experience for up to four guests.

The Belle Tent is equipped with comfortable accommodations, featuring a double bed and two singles, all prepared with cozy bedding, including fun cow-themed duvet covers for children. There is also the option for an additional child to sleep on a pull-out mattress, with guests encouraged to bring their own bedding for this. To ensure comfort during cooler evenings, a modern wood-burning stove is located just outside the tent, which can also be utilized for cooking. The tent is adorned with fairy lights and battery-powered tea lights, creating a tranquil ambiance for relaxation.

Guests at Cheglinch Farm will enjoy access to a covered outdoor kitchen area, complete with a gas barbecue, cooking equipment, and crockery, alongside an outdoor seating area for dining al fresco. For those seeking a more traditional camping experience, a fire pit is available for toasting marshmallows under the stars. While the tent does not have electricity, allowing for a true disconnect from the outside world, power is accessible in the play barn for those who need it. Please note that pets are not allowed on the property, ensuring a peaceful environment for all guests. The surrounding area is rich in natural beauty and attractions, including Marwood Hill Gardens, Watermouth Castle, and Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, making it a fantastic getaway destination.
