Frampton on Severn, located in the picturesque Gloucestershire region of the Heart of England, offers a tranquil retreat that accommodates up to four guests. Nestled near the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this peaceful hamlet of Saul is rich in history and characterized by charming cottages and farms. Visitors can embrace the countryside by leaving their cars behind, as numerous well-marked footpaths crisscross the village, including a scenic route to Saul Junction, where the Gloucester & Sharpness Canal meets the Stroudwater Canal. This historic site served as a vital meeting point for ships and crews, facilitating the passage of tall ships from the River Severn to Gloucester Docks, just a few miles away.

Upon entering, guests are welcomed by an open-plan living space designed for relaxation and socializing, featuring vintage furnishings, unique artwork, and a cozy wood burner to warm chilly evenings. The dining area, furnished with a reclaimed table and chairs, complements the well-equipped kitchen, which showcases polished concrete work surfaces, an electric oven and hob, microwave, Smeg fridge/freezer, and integrated washing machine and dishwasher. Large picture windows flood the area with natural light, enhancing the inviting atmosphere.

The barn includes two comfortable bedrooms accessed from a hallway: a double bedroom with a TV and en-suite walk-in shower, and another double bedroom also equipped with a TV. A separate shower and WC are conveniently located off the hallway. Outside, guests can enjoy a charming courtyard area with table and chairs for al fresco dining during the warmer months.
