The Artist’s House is a beautifully restored ironstone cottage located in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, within the picturesque Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This eco-friendly accommodation, ideal for families or groups of friends, can comfortably sleep up to eight guests across three bedrooms. The property features a mix of contemporary and traditional design, showcasing artwork created by the owners, Pam and John. With amenities such as underfloor heating and a cozy log burner in the snug area, the cottage provides a warm and inviting atmosphere for visitors. The option to book an additional property, Field End, allows for a total capacity of twelve guests, making it perfect for larger gatherings.

Inside, the ground floor boasts a spacious living room equipped with comfortable seating and access to a projector, leading into a well-appointed kitchen and dining area that accommodates up to eight people. The layout includes two bedrooms on this level, with the third bedroom featuring an en-suite shower. A unique snug area contains two Murphy-style beds that can be adjusted for flexibility. Upstairs, guests will find two more bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms, ensuring ample privacy and comfort. The outdoor space includes a covered area with seating, a BBQ, and views of a beautifully landscaped garden filled with fruit and flowers, providing an ideal setting for relaxation and social gatherings.

The site, known as Potato Town, was previously home to Pam and John's workshop and studio, where they hosted exhibitions and events. Now comprising three separate properties, the area is surrounded by a mature garden that attracts various wildlife, creating a tranquil environment for guests. Pam and John live on-site, offering assistance when needed and sharing their passion for eco-friendly practices, such as using organic cotton bedding and refillable toiletries, while also minimizing waste in their operations.

Guests at The Artist’s House can enjoy a range of outdoor activities, including walking and cycling, while also exploring the charming Cotswold villages nearby. Local dining options, such as The Boxing Hare and Quince and Clover, provide excellent food and coffee experiences. Attractions like Soho Farmhouse, the historic Falkland Arms pub, and the renowned Daylesford Organic Farmshop are all within a short drive.
