Its recent renovation has preserved its historical charm, showcasing an inglenook fireplace with a wood burner, exposed beams, wooden floors, and window seats, alongside a modern Everhot range cooker in the fully equipped kitchen.

The cottage offers breathtaking views over the Slad valley, an area celebrated in Laurie Lee's classic "Cider with Rosie." Guests can enjoy a plethora of walking routes right from the doorstep, and the renowned Woolpack pub, known for its exceptional food and local ales, is conveniently located just 300 meters away. Inside, the cozy lounge features two large sofas and an armchair, centered around the original fireplace, while the dining area can comfortably accommodate eight people, making it perfect for gatherings.

Accommodations include three king-size bedrooms on the upper floor, ideal for couples, along with a galleried loft bedroom containing two single beds. It's important to note that access to the loft involves a steep, narrow staircase without a handrail, which may pose challenges for young children or individuals with mobility issues.
