With three spacious bedrooms, each equipped with its own bath or shower room, the lodge is designed for comfort and relaxation. Guests can enjoy the surrounding scenic walks and opportunities for wild swimming, all within a short distance from the picturesque village of Skipton and the Yorkshire Dales.

Spanning three floors, Top Lodge offers a homely atmosphere, perfect for unwinding. The ground floor includes a well-equipped kitchen, a cozy dining room, and a delightful sitting room with Sky television, alongside a king-size bedroom featuring an en-suite shower room. The lower ground floor has been thoughtfully converted into a viewing room, library, and utility space, while the first floor houses two additional king-size bedrooms, each with access to a family bathroom. The outdoor area boasts a pleasant garden that overlooks serene woodlands, providing an ideal setting for relaxation.

Guests at Top Lodge can take advantage of the amenities offered at Broughton Sanctuary, including a nearby pub, The Bull, which provides a 15% discount for up to six guests. Additionally, a complimentary breakfast is available each weekday at the Utopia bistro, located within the Sanctuary. The area is rich in history and natural beauty, having served as a backdrop for various productions, including the beloved series "All Creatures Great and Small." Broughton Sanctuary is steeped in family heritage, currently owned by Roger Tempest, the 32nd generation of his family to reside there, with his sister Annie Tempest drawing inspiration from their childhood home for her work in "Country Life."

The Sanctuary itself is expansive, covering 3,000 acres and offering a variety of activities such as walking trails, cycling routes, and wild swimming opportunities. Guests can also access wellness facilities, including a sweat lodge, sauna, and the award-winning Avalon Wellbeing Centre, which features an indoor swimming pool and steam rooms. For larger gatherings, Broughton Sanctuary offers a selection of 18 holiday homes, ranging from unique gatehouses to historic farmhouses, making it an ideal destination for group retreats and family reunions.
