Accommodating up to six guests, the cottage features three bedrooms—two doubles and one twin—primarily situated on the ground floor, along with a well-appointed bathroom. The interior boasts a bright and spacious layout, highlighted by a country-style farmhouse kitchen equipped with modern appliances, including an American-style fridge/freezer and a range oven, perfect for preparing delicious meals. The inviting dining area within the kitchen enhances the homey atmosphere, making it ideal for family gatherings or sharing meals with friends.

After a day of exploration, guests can unwind in the comfortable sitting room, which features an impressive fireplace with an open peat fire, creating a warm ambiance for cozy evenings. Velux windows in this space offer breathtaking views of the surrounding nature reserve, lochs, and ancient archaeological sites, while a Star Gazer telescope invites guests to appreciate the night sky.

Set within ten acres of picturesque grounds, the cottage provides stunning views of open farmland, hills, and the sea, with the iconic St Kilda Island visible in the distance. Just a short distance away, visitors can enjoy a series of beautiful horseshoe-shaped coral sandy bays, perfect for beach walks and relaxation. The nearby Tigharry natural arch and blowhole rock formation, located less than two miles from the property, adds to the area's natural attractions. North Uist's mostly flat landscape is dotted with thousands of lochs, with an excellent fishing loch only 300 yards from the cottage, making it a prime location for fishing enthusiasts.

Additionally, the Asknerish Golf Course, designed by the renowned Tom Morris, is open year-round and is located just an hour's drive from St Kilda. Guests can also partake in various activities such as St Kilda cruises, bird watching, and salmon or sea trout fishing, ensuring a fulfilling holiday experience.
