Managed by David and Lorna Paton, who have lived in the area for 18 years, Dalmigavie is conveniently located just six miles off the A9 near Tomatin. It is easily accessible, being a 40-minute drive from Inverness Airport and 20 minutes from the Carrbridge train station. Visitors should note that a car is essential for navigating the steep track leading to the house, and the region is known for its unpredictable weather, ranging from cold and wild to pleasantly warm.

Guests are advised to adhere to house rules, including restrictions on dogs unless arranged in advance, and to smoke outside. Care should be taken with pets to protect local wildlife, including sheep and nesting birds. Dalmigavie offers a unique retreat where visitors can immerse themselves in nature while enjoying activities such as fishing, hiking, and mountain biking.
