Originally constructed in the early 17th century, Lime Cottage underwent significant renovations over a decade ago, including an extension that utilized traditional lime mortar for the walls. The cottage is designed to accommodate 5 to 6 guests comfortably, featuring three south-facing bedrooms: one with a super-kingsize bed, another with a double bed, and a third with a single bed plus a pull-out bed available upon request. The upstairs bathroom is equipped with a bath, sink, toilet, and a heated towel rail, while a second shower and toilet are located downstairs, alongside a washing machine and Belfast sink for hand washing.
The open-plan downstairs living area is a highlight of Lime Cottage, showcasing a hand-built kitchen complete with an Aga, a freestanding electric cooker, a Welsh dresser, and a dishwasher. The cozy seating area is furnished with a television, DVD player, and radio, making it an inviting space for relaxation. A small south-facing patio complements the interior, while the private garden, equipped with patio furniture, basks in the late afternoon sun during the summer, creating an ideal spot for unwinding after a day of exploration.
