This spacious accommodation can comfortably sleep six guests and is conveniently situated near the Howardian Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The interior of Chanting Hill Farmhouse features a cozy sitting room with comfortable seating arranged around a wood-burning stove, complemented by a large window seat that invites relaxation. The dining room, which accommodates seven guests, also includes a wood-burning stove, creating a warm ambiance for meals. The farmhouse kitchen is complemented by a cloakroom and boot room, with stairs leading down to laundry facilities in the cellar. The first floor offers three bright bedrooms: one with a super-king bed, another with a super-king bed convertible to twins, and a third with twin single beds. Two bathrooms serve these bedrooms, one of which is equipped with a claw-footed roll-top bath and a separate walk-in shower.

Outside, the farmhouse boasts a garden with stunning views of Castle Howard and is adjacent to open farmland, although it is important to note that the garden is not fenced, and livestock may graze nearby. The property provides secure bike storage in the garden shed, along with a log store and washing line for guests' convenience. Additionally, visitors will receive day entry passes to Castle Howard and a £20 voucher for the Castle Howard Farm Shop, enhancing their experience during the stay. The house and gardens are open seasonally, typically from April to October, and advance booking is recommended.
