The park boasts a variety of amenities designed to enhance the guest experience, including a beer garden, bar food, and takeaway options, as well as SuperFast Wi-Fi access. Families can enjoy the children’s adventure playground and games zone, while those looking for leisure activities can take part in bingo and quizzes or enjoy private coarse fishing at the on-site lake, for which an Environment Agency Rod Licence is required. Although there are no swimming pools available at Lakeside, the park's atmosphere is perfect for unwinding and enjoying the surrounding attractions.
Guests should note that the accommodation is self-catering, and essentials like towels, tea towels, and toilet rolls should be brought along, as duvets, linen, and pillows are provided. Check-in is available between 4 PM and 5 PM, and guests arriving after 6 PM must notify the park in advance to ensure key arrangements are made. Checkout is scheduled for 10 AM, and guests are asked to ventilate the caravan and return keys to reception or deposit them in a designated letterbox if checking out outside of office hours.
It is important to mention that Lakeside Holiday Park does not accept bookings from work parties or groups of young or single-sex individuals, ensuring a family-friendly environment. Additionally, while not all caravans feature parking directly outside, there are designated parking areas throughout the park. Nearby attractions include the Burnham and Berrow Golf Club and the scenic Mendip Hills, perfect for those seeking outdoor activities, while local events can be found at venues like Somerset Speedway and Optima Stadium, providing ample opportunities for entertainment during your stay.
