Set close to the heart of the Dorset village of Studland, this delightful cottage is perfect for exploring the Purbeck Hills. The beautiful National Trust beach of Studland Bay is just a few hundred metres away. This is a fantastic spot for nature lovers, with RSPB Stoborough Heath (8 miles) and the nature reserves of Hartland Moor (7 miles) and Studland and Godlingston Heath (1 mile) all nearby. Heading to the coast you can enjoy a day at the seaside in the popular resort of Swanage (5 miles), famous for its pier and promenade and sandy beach. From Swanage, a steam train can take you to Corfe Castle (5.5 miles), or you could catch the ferry to Poole or Brownsea Island. On entering this cheerful and attractive cottage you will find a delightful double aspect lounge which is an ideal space to relax in at the end of a great day. The lounge has been charmingly decorated and features comfortable seating, a TV/DVD, an open fire and an additional Victorian feature fireplace. Exploring further, you will reach the inviting conservatory kitchen/diner. Overlooking the garden, this light filled space is fully equipped with a pretty dining area, an oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and freezer. There is also a ground floor WC. Heading upstairs via a steep staircase, you will find three cosy bedrooms: a double room with sea glimpses, a twin room and a single, both of which feature Victorian fireplaces. There is also a bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and a WC. Going outside, the back garden is laid to lawn with trees, shrubs and flowers. Here you can sit back and enjoy a BBQ or a morning coffee. A shared gravelled drive leads to a private parking area for two cars. The front garden is gated with a paved path.
