The property boasts a prime location near the Solway Firth, which presents over 200 miles of beautiful coastline, dotted with splendid sandy beaches perfect for exploration. Guests can also enjoy a range of local attractions, including historical sites like Caerlaverock, Threave, and Drumlanrig Castles, as well as Robert Burns' House and an aviation museum. Additionally, the area is rich in outdoor activities, featuring numerous golf courses and wildlife reserves for nature enthusiasts.
Upon entering the home, guests are welcomed by a bright and spacious hallway, ideal for storing coats and shoes. The lounge, located to the right, is a cozy retreat furnished with two sofas, an open fire, and a TV/DVD, providing a perfect space to unwind after a day of adventures. Continuing down the hallway, visitors will find a utility room equipped with a washer/dryer and access to a shower room, alongside an additional entrance door for convenience. At the rear, the open-plan kitchen/diner is well-appointed with modern amenities, including an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, and a wood burner, complemented by a dining area suitable for family meals.
On the first floor, a split staircase leads to the sleeping quarters, where guests will find a master bedroom featuring a double bed and an adjoining bathroom with both a bath and a separate shower. To the left, there is a single bedroom and an additional double bedroom that offers lovely views of the surrounding landscape. Outside, the property features a large garden with multiple seating areas, perfect for soaking up the sun or enjoying alfresco dining. Furthermore, private off-road parking is available, ensuring a convenient stay for all guests.
