Nestled on a serene country lane and located a short distance from the owners' farmhouse, Little Owls Barn provides guests with the opportunity to wander through over 100 acres of farmland, including 50 acres of flourishing apple and pear orchards. The vibrant colors of the orchards shift with the seasons, and visitors can partake in the autumn apple harvest and juicing, as well as fruit picking and honey extraction from onsite hives.

Nature enthusiasts will appreciate the rich biodiversity surrounding the cottage, which allows for the enjoyment of the dawn chorus and the soothing sounds of owls at dusk. For those looking to explore the local area on two wheels, a convenient shed for bicycle storage is available, making the barn an ideal choice for cycling holidays. The peaceful village of Preston Wynne is situated just eight miles north of Hereford, providing a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Within a short five-minute drive, guests can find two small local shops offering newspapers and essential goods. A little further afield, the outskirts of Hereford city present a wider selection of main shops and supermarkets. Herefordshire is famous for its cider and perry production, which is well-represented in local restaurant and pub menus. Just two miles from the barn, a traditional pub serves real ales and ciders, although it does not offer food.
