2 Castle Cottages is a charismatic and comfortable retreat located in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, designed to accommodate two guests. Situated to the west of the Great Tower of Tattershall Castle and beyond its outer moat, the property was originally a detached farmhouse dating back to the late 18th or early 19th century. In the 1860s, the farmhouse was divided to create living spaces for agricultural laborers. The estate, including the castle and its cottages, was acquired by Nathanial, Lord Curzon of Kedleston, in 1912, who undertook restoration efforts before bequeathing it to the National Trust in 1925.

Upon entering the cottage, guests are welcomed into a hallway that leads to the kitchen on the right and a small boiler room on the left. Continuing down the hallway, one finds the cozy sitting room, perfect for relaxation. The upstairs features a double bedroom with a 5ft bed, which connects to a luxurious bathroom equipped with a slipper bath and a separate shower cubicle. The outdoor space at the rear includes an enclosed lawn area with a table and two chairs, ideal for enjoying meals outside or unwinding with a cup of tea in the afternoon sun.
