Blair Atholl is 12 miles from the house and has several pubs and restaurants as well as a golf course and castle to explore. Further afield, Pitlochry has two whisky distilleries and several lochs where you can fish, hire boats, watch the salmon jumping on the salmon ladder, or simply enjoy a leisurely walk. This handsome country lodge lends itself perfectly to special occasions, family get togethers or groups of friends wanting to reconnect, with areas for the whole group to converge as well as spots to split off and chill out in. Kick off wet kit and leave outdoor gear in the utility room before heading in to explore. The large kitchen has a huge range oven with gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, separate drinks fridge and a double sink, as well as a small table and a sunny breakfast bar for those morning coffees. The beautiful two storey window provides a superb backdrop to evening meals at the dining table, with seating for 12, and there's space for everyone to retire to the main living room afterwards. Bathroom battles are avoided with five en suite bedrooms, plus an additional family shower room on the ground floor, next to the sixth bedroom. There's a separate TV room for anyone who fancies a movie, and hidden corners with comfortable armchairs to curl up in with a book upstairs. Open the French doors to the garden on a warm summer evening, or cosy up in front of the open fire if it's chilly.
