Helmsdale Station is on the Far North Line 100 railway miles, 70 road miles, north of Inverness. During 2013 the listed station building was completely restored and refitted after 20 years out of use. This renovation has been undertaken as a non profit making community project to promote tourism in East Sutherland. All proceed go to station improvements, promoting the Far North Line and assisting community projects around Helmsdale.
Helmsdale Station House comfortably accommodates six people (eight maximum) with four bedrooms (bedroom 4 accessed through bedroom3), a large lounge, (former ticket office), kitchen and downstairs wetroom to assist those with some disability
This vacation home is located in Helmsdale. Carn Liath and Tarbat Ness Lighthouse are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Brora Beach and Loch Brora.
