Discover picturesque local walks along footpaths bordering the site, including the Dales Way which runs by the Golf Club and Crook and Staveley and for the more adventurous walks across to Cartmel Fell. There is a leisurely family walk directly from the site to the nearby Brant Fell, which provides stunning views over Lake Windermere and its surrounding fells, including the Langdales and Crinkle Crags which offer harder challenges to the more adventurous walkers.
