This large converted pub and restaurant is in the village of Hope in the Hope Valley Derbyshire which is situated in the heart of The Peak District. Located in spacious grounds with ample off road parking for 25 cars this beautiful house provides a wonderful base for family celebrations and holidays. There are seven double rooms and 2 twin rooms with en-suite bathrooms, two of which have added bunk beds so they sleep a total of 6 people in one room and four in another, all of which are equipped with their own TV with Freeview. Eight of these rooms are all on the first floor, with the ninth being situated on the ground floor which is ideal for those who do not wish to climb the stairs. Not forgetting the three bed settees to sleep another 6 guests. A large modern kitchen is well-equipped to cater for large parties with more than adequate appliances, including large Range cookers, and ample dining facilities. The conservatory serves as a large dining room with adequate seating for everyone to all sit together around one large table. Two large sitting rooms provide all the comfort you would expect with comfy seating and Smart TVs. Situated between these is the lovely original bar which is in full working order for those evening get-togethers and for aspiring landlords in the party. There is also a games area with a selection of table games and books, table football and a Smart TV and games console to help occupy the younger members of the party, whilst the fibre broadband will ensure a good connection for guests. Outside is a large enclosed and safe gravelled area with a paved patio and covered hot tub, a charcoal barbecue and plenty of outdoor seating for groups to relax and drink in the fresh air whilst planning what to see or where to go next. Also don’t forget there is an enclosed children’s play area with swings, slide and climbing wall, so you can sit back and relax knowing the children are safe. Outside, there is also a secure lockable steel shed for any bikes and outdoor equipment. The village of Hope has a selection of traditional pubs serving food, cafés and some lovely little shops, while just over a mile away is the popular village of Castleton with its Norman Castle, numerous caves to explore and the imposing Winnats Pass. Within easy reach of this fabulous house is Hathersage with its open air swimming pool, Edale, which is at the start of the Pennine Way, and the charming market towns of Bakewell and Buxton. A perfect house that you will want to return to at the end of an enjoyable day.
