Set between Stroud and Cheltenham, there is plenty of attractions in the surrounding area to keep the whole group entertained.

Wilfred Manor is a magnificent Grade 1 manor house which has been beautifully modernised in recent years while retaining all of its original charm and character. On the ground floor is the vast entertaining space, comprising of the Great Room, Family Room, Library and Dining Room as well as the fully-equipped kitchen and breakfast room, there is plenty of room for the whole group to socialise. Upstairs, there is even a games room complete with a full-size Snooker table and Bar, the ideal place for the adults to relax in the evenings. The Manor can comfortably sleep up to twenty-two guests across its eleven unique bedrooms, each beautifully appointed and boasting en-suite bathroom facilities.

Built within the grounds of Wilfred Manor, the Country Stables is a 3-bedroom self-contained property which has been newly renovated. The Barn & Spa and Green Retreat share their own private garden area complete with a large hot tub and pergola. For those looking to really relax, private dining with the in-house chef can be arranged and can cater to you and your family or friends. Wilfred Manor is located in gorgeous countryside in Painswick, Gloucestershire with easy access to all that the Cotswolds has to offer. It is located at the top of the Slad Valley with stunning panoramic views. Painswick is an historic wool town, known as ‘The Queen of the Cotwolds’. It is surrounded by some of Gloucestershire’s most wonderful countryside and features many gorgeous buildings built with the mellow Cotswold stone from the local quarry on Painswick Beacon. It sits halfway along the Cotswold Way National Trail with marvellous hikes all around. Painswick Beacon enjoys magnificent views across the Severn Valley to the Welsh mountains. Within easy reach of Wilfred Manor, you will find the pretty villages of Sheepscombe, Edge and Slad, Barnwood Park and Arboretum, the Alney Island Nature Reserve and the cathedral city of Gloucester. Gloucester is nestled between the Cotwolds and the Forest of Dean. It boasts a history dating back to the Roman times and is home to many museums and attractions. Cheltenham is home to the famous Cheltenham Racecourse with its 16 days of racing each year. It offers unique festival vibes, a wonderful array of shops and restaurants, striking Regency architecture and a wonderful history.
