On offer locally as well as fishing, there is Braemar Golf Course which is allegedly the highest and most dramatic golf course in Scotland. You can go skiing in Glenshee within a short drive and the local town of Braemar is well worth a visit and is just a few minutes away in the car and boasts a good selection of shops, cafes and restaurants.
