Region: The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Town: The hamlet of Wilsthorpe rests on the coast of the East Riding of Yorkshire with easy access to Fraisthorpe beach. The coastal hamlet houses a shop, pub and café, as well as the Belvedere Circle making a great spot to stroll in the summer whilst enjoying an ice cream, before venturing into nearby Bridlington. Bridlington, known as "The Lobster Capital of Europe", is a great day out for everyone with a pre-Roman harbour and beautiful Old Town. Home to the 2016 Dad's Army film, there is Augustinian Priory, Bayle Museum and Harbour Heritage Museum, as well as many eateries and independant shops. RSPB Bempton Cliffs Seabird Centre is a fascinating spectacle, home to around half a million seabirds gathering between the months of March and October. The port city of Hull offers its own aquarium and the Streetlife museum or you can head to York to discover a whole host of attractions including its Shambles from the Middle Ages providing quaint shops and an ideal trip for the Harry Potter enthusiast, alongside its Gothic-style Minster tales of ghosts and evidence of Vikings! Encompassed by excitement, Wilsthorpe is a great base to explore the East Riding of Yorkshire and beyond.

Located in Bridlington, this lodge is on the beach. Bridlington Priory and Sewerby Hall are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Treasure Island Mini Golf and Gala Bingo. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling and hiking nearby.
