Portmeirion, the picturesque village which provided the location for 1960s TV series The Prisoner, is only 8 miles away. Thrill seekers can head to Zip World or Go Below (both within 30 miles) to zip line over spectacular scenery or zip line, abseil and boat through intriguing caverns.
