Swiss family Schmid in Snowdonia have availability in our self contained Norwegian Log Cabin.
Step back in time... our cabin was built with logs having well over a century of growth... tightly packed dense wood and so very warm. Experience nature on the Snowdonia National Park. The cabin is quite private and situated on the Trawsfynydd Holiday Village with its own bore hole natural water supply.
A very tranquil spot with an incredible vista of stars on a clear night (there is no ambient light permitted in the infrastructure of this exceptional space).. Superb!
The log cabin is hugely atmospheric being built from aged Norwegian logs and simply furnished to reflect the ambience.
A very intimate space for couples or small families.
We have a private rear garden that catches the early morning sun, a front porch for afternoon teas and a frontal patio in the garden.
We have our own private WiFi that is available for guests ... Password is available.
Gsm 4 G access is very good.
The cabin has overnight storage heating for the winter months along with additional daytime heating if required.
Electricity is free to use.
In the unusual circumstances that you wish to know what is happening in the outside world of being 'stamped, monitored, filed and indexed' we have a smart television linked to wifi for your amusement.
This lodge is located in Blaenau Ffestiniog. Cymer Abbey and Bala Lake Railway Interpretive Centre are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Eryri National Park and Llechwedd Slate Caverns. Go Ape at Coed y Brenin and Zip World Llechwedd are also worth visiting.
