The Meadows Dairy is located on The Manor House Estate in Bawdsey and provides a quiet and picturesque place to stay. While you are staying, you are able to enjoy exploring the countryside on the estate or head to the coast which is a short distance away. The property is part of a barn conversion styled building with vaulted ceiling in the kitchen dining space creating a light and airy room and a cosy sitting room with wood burning stove which makes it a lovely place to come back to after a walk in the winter months. The kitchen dining space is well equipped and there is a separate utility room.
Outside you have the choice of an enclosed garden with furniture including sun loungers and a barbecue or step out of the french doors from the kitchen, and you have views across the meadow and parkland and can set out walking from there. There are a number of mown paths through the parkland and areas which are suitable for picnics. During the winter months it is possible to catch a glimpse of the estuary. The properties on the estate have the use of a shared outdoor swimming pool and a tennis court so you could decide that you have enough to do during your visit without going further afield in the car.
