Its own beautiful grounds include a fine walled garden where you will find Scotland's leading specialist Garden Plant Centre. There is a tennis court, table tennis pavilion and rope swings for children. Fresh fruit and vegetables are available in season. The Appin area includes the picturesque village of Port Appin and the romantic Castle Stalker, on its own little island. There are opportunities locally for walking, cycling, riding, water sports, fishing, bird watching. Ben Nevis and the mountains of Glencoe are nearby. Fort William and Oban offer holiday shopping, golf, swimming, whisky distilleries and ferry cruises to the islands of Mull, Iona, Staffa and beyond. The cottages and apartments are open all year. Short breaks available.
