For cyclists, you can take advantage of many scenic routes including the National Cycling Route (42), which runs nearby, together with some of the best mountain biking centres in the UK. You can try water sports at Llandegfedd Reservoir and there is fantastic fishing nearby on the River Usk, with day permits available in Usk. Visit one of the many vibrant market towns where you can pick up some local produce at a farmers market, the closest being Usk (5 miles), Monmouth (10miles) and Abergavenny (12 miles), the gateway to the Brecon Beacons.
