The kitchen/diner is suitably well-equipped with everything needed for whipping up a selection of fantastic food for your holiday party. You can keep the designated chef company while they’re cooking and when the food is ready to serve, choose from a formal dining area or a less formal dining table and chairs, or if the sun is shining, step outside onto the terrace which has an extensive table and chairs all ready for alfresco drinking and dining. Head off from here and carry on along the Heritage Coastline where you will find miles of sandy beaches, quaint fishing villages and breath-takingly beautiful castles. Other towns worth visiting in the region include Alnwick, Seahouses (just a few miles away) and you can even head to the border and visit the ever-popular town of Berwick-upon-Tweed. Activities to look forward to in the area include golf, sailing (from Seahouses to the Farne Islands), birdwatching, hiking, cycle rides and horse-riding.
