Situated in the lovely village of Grasmere, this manor house is close to a number of shops and pubs, as well as the famous Grasmere Gingerbread shop which just has to be visited. Just 5 miles away is the town of Ambleside and Lake Windermere. In Ambleside, you will find shops, pubs, restaurants, and cruises, boat trips and water sports can all be enjoyed on Lake Windermere. The towns of Windermere and Keswick are also within driving distance. This old manor house wing is truly something special and is a fantastic setting for creating amazing holiday memories. The lounge is truly one of a kind with high vaulted ceilings and a huge bay window offering stunning panoramic views which can be enjoyed any time of the day, whether it be to watch the sunrise or fall. Here you can unwind and relax with two large sofas in front of the Smart TV and wood burner. Head on through to the dining room which is a great space with all you need for a family feast or for any meal, and to enjoy a night of playing games. The kitchen has an abundance of space for all to get involved in making meals and has a traditional Lakeland feel but with a modern twist. There is a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, and electric oven and hob, along with a breakfast bar. Back into the hallway and off from here is the boot room with plenty of space for all your coats and boots. There is a ground floor shower room with a shower and WC. Head up the grand staircase to the first floor which offers a great grandeur to the climb. The first floor has all the bedroom accommodation. The master bedroom houses a king size bed set in front of the window with the same amazing views, and there is also an en suite bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC.The other bedrooms consist of two doubles and a bunk room which is perfect for the kids. Completing this floor is the shower room with a walk in shower and WC. Outside, there is a lovely garden with seating and various spots to sit and relax and enjoy the amazing views. Parking is available for up to three cars.
