This newly converted barn conversion is set within the owners' private grounds and farm alongside neighbouring cottages, all in the village of North Dalton. The village itself has everything you want for a Yorkshire getaway. The area offers ample walking and cycling opportunities, with a network of footpaths and trails. The historic market towns of Market Weighton, Beverley and Driffield are close by. Visit Sledmere House, Beverley Minster and the Yorkshire Air Museum, or take a day trip to York to visit the sights, including The National Railway Museum and the Jorvic Viking Centre. The seaside resorts of Bridlington and Filey are sure to be a big hit with the children, while Bempton RSPB Reserve is fascinating for all ages. Flamborough Head beach is dog friendly all year round, so is a must visit with your canine companion. On entering this very welcoming abode, step inside the roomy entrance hall. Hang your coats and leave behind your boots and head through into the light filled hallway which leads to a split level living space. You'll arrive first to the large and cosy sitting room, furnished with deep comfy leather sofas amidst a large Smart TV and a corner wood burner; this is the perfect place to unwind and relax with the fire burning at the end of your day. Take a few steps down and around to the kitchen/diner, thoughtfully furnished with some traditional farmhouse style furniture and contemporary touches. The open plan kitchen is perfect for cooking up a meal whilst socialising with your group. Mealtimes will be a breeze with the integral appliances including an electric induction hob, double oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Take your meal over to the large farmhouse table with a long bench and chairs, alternatively open the large sliding door and dine alfresco on your private enclosed patio. Beyond the kitchen is a utility area with a washing machine and tumble dryer ideal for those holiday practicalities. There is also a separate ground floor WC. When the night draws in and it's time to sleep, there are four well proportioned bedrooms to choose from. Make your way up the staircase to find three bedrooms. There are two king size, one with en suite shower room, both of which have a Smart TV and plenty of space for storing your clothes. You'll also find a twin zip and link bedroom that can be made up as a super king size on request, with an en suite shower room and WC. There is ethernet access in each bedroom, allowing effortless connectivity if required, to catch up with work or social media. There is a beautiful family bathroom with a freestanding bathtub and a generous walk in shower. The fourth bedroom is on the ground level with twin beds. Outside you can chose from the enclosed rear garden, which catches the sun in the morning or the sheltered private patio, accessed via the kitchen, which is the perfect place to enjoy a family BBQ in the evening sun after a day of exploring the area. Guests are welcome to pick their own fresh produce from the walled garden beyond the gate including courgettes, leeks, beans, strawberries and raspberries. If you fancy keeping fit during your stay, there is a shared tennis court and outdoor swimming pool available on a rota system. Finish off with a relaxing sauna (available on request/charges apply). With all of this available from your lovely holiday cottage, you ll want to return time and time again! There is ample off street parking available.
