The barn conversion itself is nestled within the owner's grounds, known for their breathtaking scenery, and features a trout fishery. Upon entering the split-level barn, guests are welcomed by a bright and airy open-plan lounge, kitchen, and dining area, equipped with modern appliances such as an electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher, ensuring a comfortable stay.
The lounge area, accessible via a small staircase, provides a cozy space for relaxation, complete with a TV/DVD for movie nights or a Wii for gaming enthusiasts. On the first floor, guests will find two well-appointed bedrooms: a super king-size room (which can be converted to a twin upon request) and a double room, both featuring TVs. The shared bathroom on this level includes a shower and WC, while the lower ground floor hosts an additional double bedroom with an en suite shower, WC, and patio doors that lead to the garden area.
Outside, the small enclosed patio features a hot tub, private BBQ, and garden furniture, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. The property offers year-round fly fishing, with opportunities for children to engage in float fishing during the warmer months. Families can enjoy various play areas, including a small football space and play equipment, while the resident pigs and donkeys add a unique charm to the experience. Additionally, a large communal BBQ area is available for gatherings, and off-road parking for up to four cars ensures convenience for guests visiting this delightful retreat.
