The location of the barn is 0.5 miles up a single track lane where there is an abundance of quiet footpaths and bridleways which can be accessed, easily from the doorstep meaning you can leave your car behind and head off exploring. Situated just five miles from the market town of Ashbourne with its Georgian terraces, 13th century church, colourful market square, heritage trail, country stores, and antique shops that provide lots to see and explore. The location also provides easy access to Carsington Water (12 miles), Alton Towers(16 miles) Dovedale Stepping Stones (3 miles), and Tissington village (3 miles). However, remember to leave some time aside to enjoy Chatsworth House, gardens, and a famous farm shop (16 miles). Step into the hallway which has plenty of space to store muddy boots and coats, which leads through to the spacious kitchen/diner. The cottage style kitchen offers a traditional oil fired Rayburn range cooker with hob, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. A washing machine can be found in the utility cupboard, and there is a handy downstairs WC.
