Alternatively, Harrogate, York and Leeds are nearby and provide an abundance of attractions. Families will enjoy Xscape, Lightwater Valley, Fountains Abbey and many museums, castles and abbeys nearby. Don t forget to pack your glad rags to enjoy a fun filled day at York or Wetherby Races. As one of the oldest cottages in Saxton it has retained its unique look with low ceilings, doorways and beams, warm and cosy throughout, this charming cottage is most welcoming with well laid out accommodation. Come through the entrance porch into the kitchen which is fully equipped with all your essentials, including an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and a breakfast table. Head through to the lounge with comfy sofas and a wood burner at its heart, stoke the fire and snuggle up and unwind after a day of walking. The twin room is accessed from the king size bedroom, which is suitable for children and adults.
