This property is one of two beautifully converted barns situated on a working farm, just a mile away from the sandy shores of Sandy Bay. Additionally, the area is rich with family-friendly attractions, including the Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, the thrilling rides at Watermouth Castle theme park, and the vibrant resort town of Ilfracombe, all within a short drive from the property.
The barn conversion is designed with an elegant minimalist style, providing an atmosphere reminiscent of an upscale hotel, complete with meticulous attention to detail. The spacious ground floor features a cozy lounge/diner, where guests can unwind on comfortable sofas by the wood burner, enjoy meals at the dining table, or watch their favorite shows on the TV/DVD. French windows open out to the garden, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor living. Adjacent to the lounge is a contemporary kitchen equipped with modern appliances, including an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine, also with access to the enclosed garden.
Ascending the open tread wooden stairs leads guests to the first floor, which comprises four well-appointed bedrooms. The master suite features a king-size bed, a TV/DVD, and an en suite shower room complete with a bath, separate shower cubicle, and WC. Additionally, there is another king-size bedroom and two charming single rooms, all tastefully decorated to maintain the high standards set by the ground floor. The main bathroom is conveniently located on the first floor, offering a bath with a hand-held shower and a WC. Guests should be aware that the former barn structure results in some restricted head height and sloping ceilings in the upstairs accommodations.
Outside, the property boasts an inviting enclosed garden, complete with a patioed sun terrace, lawn area, and a private hot tub, perfect for relaxation after a day of exploring. The garden is furnished with a table, chairs, a BBQ, and sun loungers, providing an ideal setting for outdoor dining and leisure.
